I just had a search come to my site about potato water and Arthritis. There is some talk about this old home remedy.
The nutritional value of the potato is well-known. A member of the nightshades family of plants it is a native of the Americas. After being introduced to Europe and around the world it has become the 4th largest cultivated crop on the planet.
With the addition of milk and butter people can survive on just consuming the vegetable (tuber).
The tuber is very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium. It is also a great source of Vitamin C and Potassium, and a very good source of Vitamin B6. Even though a lot of carbohydrates and starch are involved the glycemic load is low to moderate but the inflammatory factor is on the negative side. Mildly inflammatory which means it is more likely to promote inflammation than reduce it.
Long before the internet I read in a health journal the potato can lower stress. This is minus the fat, butter and sour cream, and without the salt.
Another home remedy is relief of hemorrhoids. I have not tried it and the chance I won’t is at 100% or more. Cut into small pieces and frozen then used as a suppository you may find relief for the discomfort of hemorrhoids, or at least forget about them during the thaw!
I enjoy this culinary delight in every way except raw and the above mentioned. They are on the menu several times a week from dawn to dusk.
In my way of thinking the potato water for arthritis is a myth. That said I am pro anything that may help without doing harm. If you try this home remedy for a few weeks please give us some feedback on you results.

Forget The Pain And South Bend Pain Management
I visited a Flea Market Sunday. The Wild Wood Flea Market on the out skirts of Michigan City Indiana. I had a great time and introduced a lot of people to Real Time Pain Relief.
I always run into skeptics but it would seem at the Wild Wood there were more than I usually encounter. Four people actually gave me a hard time. I understand when someone with pain has a hard time believing that Real Time Pain Relief really does what we claim. Relieves Pain in minutes. Reduces Inflammation. Increases Blood Flow and Promotes Healing.
I’ll share one of these encounters with you.
A gentleman came up to me saying this is ridiculous. Can’t be true and just like all the rest of this stuff. He was reading my sign. After letting him go on for about two minutes I began explaining to him how we were different than everything else on the market. He had stated he had tried them all. Even his doctor hadn’t been able to help him and he was tired of all the pills. He was aware of all the negative side effects.
Telling me he had suffered with arthritis in his hands for 15 years and he didn’t know what he would give to stop the pain in his hands. I replied you will give me the price of a 4.4 oz jar of Real Time Pain Relief.
It took me a few minutes to convince him to try some. I always have some to give to people. He was also aware of some of our ingredients and what they do. Emu Oil, Glucosamine, and Capsicum he had heard of.
So, I said to him you can continue suffering, continue doing what you have been doing that you say is not working or try some of this and feel the results. Finally he put some on. I explained a little more about the ingredients and how arthritis is a condition of inflammation and how RTPR has over a dozen natural ingredients to help reduce it. The five minutes went by and we applied it again. That’s how Real Time Pain relief works, in layers so you always put it on and then again in 5 minutes.
He was grumbling, a little bit, as he walked off but I knew he would be back and sure enough about 10 minutes later he was back giving me the price of the 4.4 oz. Jar. He said ya know this is really working.
I had this type of encounter with four people. Three of the four came back and started using RTPR. I am not sure what happened to the fourth. I may have left before she could make it back.
This is how it is for me. I really enjoy all the successes I have helping people with pain and the feeling that I have helped to improve someone’s life. Real Time Pain relief really does work and with the addition of real food it can be life changing.
I love talking to people and we chat about more than just pain relief. I hear some great tales and share some of mine too. The people we care about and the ones we meet are our greatest treasure. Smile, Say Hello, Be Kind to People!

I just became acquainted with a gentlemen at the South Bend Farmers Market who deals in magnets for pain.
It would seem he does well selling them. The biggest selling point he has is a magnet wand or pen. He takes the pen and in a circular motion waves it around a point on your body. I have no idea how powerful this magnet is but you can feel the power. Waving the thing around my wrist my fingers tingled for a few minutes.
I do have carpal tunnel but because of RTPR I was not experiencing pain at that time. I was a little impressed at power of the thing but can’t say if there was a pain relieving property to it. This leads me to believe many people may also be impressed by this effect and make a purchase. The bracelets are nice looking but I would think the magnets contained on them are not near as powerful as the pen.
That is the biggest selling point. Nice looking and the pen makes your fingers tingle. I have seen people already wearing one and buying a second and even a third. What is it “more is better?”
I do have a friend, and client, who had a problem with his thumb. Computer and mouse related, the repetitive motion thing. He tried the copper bracelet. I even wore it for a while after he gave up on that. Then he tried a magnet. Jason could never pin point if it was helping or not. After about a month becoming tired of wearing it he stopped. It’s likely in his junk drawer somewhere along with the copper one.
After I discovered Real Time Pain Relief I shared it with him. Applying a little dab to his thumb at the kitchen table right before our eyes the swelling left, the pain stopped, and after a week of using RTPR his thumb healed. Jason purchased a roll on bottle back in June of 2011 and, still, hasn’t used it all. He aggravates the thumb now and then and has to reapply. He raves how this has improved his golf game.
Back to the “Magnet Guy” I gave him a Travel Pack of Real Time Pain Relief to try at his leisure. After a couple of weeks went by I registered an online purchase. I always call my customers and speak to them. It was the magnet guy! He raved about how it worked for him. He works out and did something to his shoulder.
These are his exact words ” The Pain Was Gone Before I Even Got My Hand Away From My Shoulder From Rubbing Some On!” ” This stuff is amazing!”
Of course my response was “I told you so.”
Most of these bracelets are made in China. When purchased in bulk the cost is $3 a peace. I see them being sold for $25 to $30. Nice mark-up. I’m not sure if diamonds have that mark-up.
If you use a laptop computer be careful wearing magnets. They will damage your computer. Keep the magnet away from your debit and credit cards. They will erase the magnetic strip.
Do Magnets Really Work?
There is some evidence Magnets can increase Blood Flow and ease Muscle Spasms.
Take to heart we are not suggesting you don’t try this alliterative. We support any method that may give relief form pain. If this helps why not use it.

Inflammation is our body’s natural response to trauma, the presence of an infection or infectious disease. A foreign body such as a splinter. An undiscovered splinter will “fester.” An allergy or allergic reaction.
This reaction can appear in minutes, if not seconds, of the body finding an invasion of something foreign present. Bacteria and viruses included. A fever is a response of the immune system.
The Lymphatic System has Lymph Nodes located throughout the body in the underarms, groin, neck, chest, and abdomen. The fluid in this system contains several types of white blood cells ready to protect us from invaders.
Part of our body’s immune system, white blood cells travel to the site involved to remove the toxins from infection and foreign substances, such as bacteria and viruses, that maybe present. White blood cells are produced in our bone marrow.
Sings of inflammation include fever, pain, redness, swelling, a possible decrease in motion, and the feeling of heat.
Arthritis is a disease of inflammation.
I recall getting a splinter once from a cracked broom handle. In one of my fingers I really didn’t notice it at the time. Days after I began to notice the spot. Pain to the touch and a swelling like a blister. Unable to figure it out I suffered with it for a few more days and finally growing tired of the discomfort I began pushing and squeezing on it. I could feel something poking me in there.
It was festering. I know this is disgusting but if you have ever had something fester you know of the nasty green stuff that emerges when you pop it. Just your body’s way of yelling at you “Hey, Look Here!”
Well I popped it and was amazed at the size of that splinter. It only hurt when I pushed on it by touching something. I suppose the splinter wasn’t deep enough to trigger a pain response but my white blood cells surly went after it.
Most times our immune system’s inflammatory response is a good thing being our body’s first line of defense. A normal and healthy response. The first thing telling you, or someone else, something is wrong. One of the first tests a doctor will do is run your blood work. When the white blood cell count is elevated this is a red flag that something is wrong. The Diagnosis will continue.
Other times the inflammatory response is not so positive. We suffer from a list of inflammatory disorders. Many are debilitating such as arthritis, gout, fibromyalgia, and carpel tunnel. Cancer cells have this effect. Over exercising and muscle strain.
The result in the immune system attacking the body’s healthy cells or tissues and may cause abnormal inflammation, which results in chronic pain, redness, swelling, stiffness, and damage to normal tissues.
Stopping this unhealthy response and allowing the body to heal is the job of anti-inflammatory drugs. The sad part of these drugs they all have dangerous side effect without exception.
Food is a great way to aid your body’s healthy responses. Enjoyable too. Increased blood flow to the area through motion.
Understanding it all takes some time. Information abounds on the net and your doctor certainly can help.
Acetylsalicylic Acid. Commonly referred to as aspirin. Aspirin is the trademark of the Bayer Corporation for Acetylsalicylic Acid. An other NSAID, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug.
Used as a pain reliever, fever reducer, and anti-inflammatory medication. Also used as a blood thinner. The active ingredient, salicylic acid, has been used through out history being found in willow tree bark. People have chewed on the bark, made tea, and used it as poultice since time began.
The old joke on Doctors for many years was ”Take two aspirin and call me in the morning,” The humor has left the building .
Considered by many to be one of the safer NSAIDs there are still serous complications to be taken into account when using the drug. Mainly due to the effects on the stomach, gastrointestinal track, and bleeding. Acetylsalicylic Acid hampers the blood’s clotting ability. Those dealing with diabetes, even mild cases, are suggested to consult with their doctor about it’s use.
In recent years a low dose of the drug has been recommend to heart attack and stroke victims. Also those who show risk factors of same. This is due to the blood thinning properties. Never start a daily regiment of this drug with out first consulting your doctor.
The drug has been associated with Reye’s syndrome and is not recommended for children, under the age of 18, showing symptoms or chicken pox or flu. During my generation this was the “go to drug” for fever. Times change.
The drug is not recommend if you have allergies or asthma. Ulcers or any bleeding disorder. Liver or kidney disease. Any blood clotting problems. If you suffer with Gout.
Kind of an oxymoron there is risk of heart attack and stroke with this NSAD. Because of it’s ability to loosen clotting that may be present in the body. These particles can travel to the heart and brain causing a blockage in blood flow leading to heart attack and stroke.
As with any NSAID never combine them with alcohol.
How often do we “pop” a pill never paying attention to the label? Just because they are on the shelf and readily available doesn’t mean they are safe for everyone. It’s time we all started paying attention to labeling and warnings on the packaging before we buy let alone put it in our bodies.
I invite you to join our community of people keeping up on the news about oral pain killers.
Although not applicable for fever our topical pain relief lotion should be a consideration for pain relief. No dangerous side effects. Works in minutes. Smells like peaches. Trying is believing.
For many the older generation comes to mind when thinking of Arthritis. It is true the over 60 crowd deals with this joint inflammation problem but younger individuals are also affected. Being the second largest reason for disability for people over the age of 15. Heart disease being first.
Statistics show over 45 million people, in the United States alone, suffer with Arthritis and many more a diagnosed every year. There are three basic types, Osteoarthritis (OA), Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), and Gout. Women seem to be affected more than men and 100′s of 1,ooo’s of children are diagnosed with the disease.
Dealing a large blow to the economy, 128 billion dollars is spent on doctor visits, hospitalizations and pharmaceuticals. Loss of work and disability.
The Arthritis Foundation was formed in 1948 and they continue to support research and educate people suffering from the disease.
Able to attack any joint in the body the inflammation does have a debilitating effect on everyday life. Even simple tasks become painful and, for some, impossible. As the swelling and pain continues decreased motion is a side effect. As the inflammation continues damage to joint cartilage accrues only to make matters worse.
We offer a safe and effective alternative to oral pain medications and the adverse side effects associated with their use. Relieving pain pulse increasing blood flow. Allowing you to increase motion and compounding this increased blood flow revitalizing tissue. The ability to rejuvenate cartilage leading to healthier joints.
Thousands are discovering this time tested formula. 13 years of pain management. Many have reduced, even stopped, their oral pain medications. The money saved will add an other smile to you face. Trying will make you a believer.
